Richness

I am wealthy. The opportunities, time and activities that I experience make me rich. Today was a magnificent day filled with memories galore. Working till early this AM, it was a busy and stressful night. At times I wonder what I am doing, but once again at the end of my shift I leave feeling satisfied. I love people so much. I finally got to bed around 5am. Just in time to call a friend and wish her a "Good Morning!". After a few hours of sleep, I said good bye to Rae before she got on a plane to Europe and a new life! Then it was off to a fantastic church picnic. So many people I adore all around me. Jumping on the Moonwalk, meeting new people and catching up with old friends…and attempting coffee once more. Still the taste is too bitter. =0) Then off to swimming...in my jeans and t-shirt... Lots of laughing and diving and swimming and just trying to be creative. Afterwards I ate dinner with another dear friend from college before going home and watching fireworks in my front yard with my sister. These weren’t the little ones, but were HUGE…vibrant exploding colors in the sky with loud “BOOMS” that hit the core. What an amazing day! And that was just today.
