Friends
I do not like to write. In fact, I'd rather not, but yet at the same time....I love it...when at least I feel like I have something to write about. Do you ever have those days where there's so much you could say or write down?
It's been one of those days...no one of those weeks and I love it.
Yes, it's true I have been to all 7 continents and have traveled immensely compared to some, but there's nothing quite like family and friends. Seeing new places, meeting new people, trying something new can be an adventure, but there are adventures right here in Fort Wayne as well.
I have many fond and wonderful memories of traveling, but being right here and hanging out with people I love is what truly matters most. I love it.
Laughter and talking with high school friends last night, the hours slipped before my eyes. Hanging out with my dog at the nursing home today...it was so good to see some of the residents and this weather had most of them in great moods. I was even blessed by one woman playing alive, bouncing tunes on the piano. A woman who constantly needs oxygen to survive and can get anxious at times...but there she was sharing her ability to play overcoming selfish desires of tiredness or being defeated.
Visiting more friends this evening and then helping my sister out with some of her Burmese students. For a bit it was hard to tell if I was still in Fort Wayne.
My eyes are getting very heavy...I think I'm off to bed. Goood night.
